G.R.C. PRESIDENT'S CUP R. r ,RAIT WINS FINAL RACE Contrary to the expectations of most oarsmen, K. Rail's crew won the (lisborne Bowing Club's annual four-oar series for the trophies presented by .Mr. ,0. \V. Muir, club president, the filial rue ! being rowed oil' on Saturday evening and resulting in a 'win Cor Rait by just over a length. The winning crow comprised R. Unit (str.), Sloan, Slnde, and King, and their, opponents were R. Ilanna (str.),' Webber, Roddick and liny. From the start Rait began to go away gradually, but Ilanna hung on well, and there was a hard strugggle over about three-quarters of the course. When the weight went on at the business end of the race, however, Rait again established his superiority, and he passed the post just a little over a length in front of the opposing crew.
