OBJECTS The Company will nave authority to manufacture motor vehicles, motor engines, accessories', and to process and finish all classes of iron, brass and other metal work, to repair, re-condition and assemble all classes of motor Vehicles. The primary object in view is to manufacture motor vehicles specially adapted for New Zealand conditions, using where possible New Zealand materials. Vehicles when completed will be subjected to stringent tests over the length ayd breadth of New Zealand, and when proved to the general public of New Zealand that the ear can undertake any supreme test accomplished by any other make of car it is The intention of the Company to promote a New Zealand-wide Company with factories in the main industrial centres to produce the vehicles under mass production principles. In the intended formation of this Manufacturing Company the shareholders of this Company will be given the right to hcciuire four preference shares for every one share held by them in the experimental Company, such preference shares to be issued as fully paid up in consideration of the shareholders’ contributions to allow the manufacture of the test vehicles. The Company will also have the right to import, export, sell or exchange and carry on all divisions of trading that are usually carried on by Motor Vehicle Agency Companies. Reviewed, the Company is being formed for the purpose of establishing a factory to manufacture motor car's, mofbr trucks and motor engines and accessories, to manufacture, process and finish till classes of iron, brass and metal work, to import, export, sell, exchange, repair arid carry out all experimental work in connection with placing on the market motor vehicles and plant manufactured in New Zealand. The method of manufacture will lie carried out by adopting in part or in whole patents, plant and stock at present held by George Birch, of Gisborne, and more particularly to create a new model car, with optional front wheel drive al a price to compete with the lower priced imported cars, such car to lie tested out under most difficult of New Zealand road, hill and weather conditions. The Company proposes to utilise wherever possible mate finis of New Zealand origin, and preliminary enquiries have been made 1o establish the fact of obtaining, if not all, the. greater part of ail materials, whether processed or riot, from the New Zealand market. * ~ ~.
