MAN BOUND OVER
ASSAULT ON SOLICITOR (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Alleged victimisation of himself and his wife was pleaded in extenuation by Vincent Henry Farmer, who conducted his own defence when charged in the Police Court with assaulting Augustus John West-Walker, a solicitor, when the latter was leaving chuitli last Sunday morning. In giving judgment, the Bench suit* tho defendant had been worried over his financial operations, and had got incensed with the complainant and assaulted him. The defendant had been quite unjustified in tbe assault, and would be bound over in the sum of LAb to keep the peace for 13 months.
