£500,000 YACHT
J. P. MORGAN'S NEW SHIP 2712 TONS DISPLACEMENT (Received April 11, 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, April 10. A report from Bath, Maine, states that Mr. .!. P. Morgan's new £ooo,ooo'. yacht, the Corsair, was launched after the financier's daughter had cracked a quart of U>l~> vintage champagne over the bow. It is the dint time since prohibition that such a christening has occurred at the historic . local shipyards. ■•.-••■ The luxurious vessel carries a crew of oS men, has a length of 343£ft. overall, a displacement of 2712 tons, and a cruising radius of 25,000 miles. All the exposed woodwork is of Indian teak, except the panelling.
