WILL NOT BE DISMISSED NEW SPANISH CRISIS LONDON, March 20. A fresh crisis has arisen in Spain, according to the Madrid correspondent of the Daily News, owing to the refusal of General Barrera to quit the post of Captain-General at Barcelona, from which he was dismissed by the new ♦Government for plotting with General Martinez Anido to establish a dictatorship. Gercal Barrera is believed to have secured the support of the majority of the officers at Barcelona. 'The Government, without waiting for the King's signature, has appointed Prince Carlos of Bourbon, ihe King's brother-in-law, to succeed General Barrera. The Prince left for Barcelona last night. It is not known how Barcelona will accept the Government's action, but there is talk of open rebellion. The Miu.sters who were in office muter the Spanish dictatorship have decided, says the Madrid correspondent at' the Times, to re-form the political party railed the National Monarchical Union.
