MOTOR CYCLIST KILLED
COLLISION WITH CAR (P«r PrPRa Association.) WANGANIJI, last night. Archibald L. Melville, farm manager, Turakina, was lulled instantaneously to-day when a motor cycle he was riding collided,with a three-seater coupe. Deceased was riding to attend the Wanganui trotting •meeting, ami, apparently, was on the wrongside of the road. His machine struck the left hand front portion of the car, Ivhicli was driven by John Stewart, motor salesman, of Martori. The collision was of a severe nature, and occurred on the Auckland-Wellington main highway about a mile from the city boundary on the tar sealed surface. Deceased's head was practically shattered and death was instantaneous. He was a single man, aged L'7 years, with a brother residing at Kukaramea.
