A CAMP MURDER
MAN BATTERED TO DEATH SYDNEY, Alarcli fin. Early this morning Emil Bnkke. a Norwegian, awoke to find his mate Thomas O’Brien, fit), lying beside him dead at their camp, a quarter of a mile from Burrnba. Bakko stated (hat after pitching their camp lip went to bed. and did not remember anything after that. Bnkke had a black eye, and 1 lie camp bore signs of a tierce struggle. The police were informed that Hitmen had boon robbed, but -the report bus not boon confirmed. Both men had several drinks in Barraha before they left for their camp. False teeth wore found in O'Brien’s throat, nfto a post mortem examination had bees carried out. O’Brien was badly battered. The police have detained three men in connection with the affair.
