RUSSIA WILL GROW IT LONDON, March 2D. “In view of the great projected expansion of" the woollen industry, with an output of woollen cloths in 11132-33 amounting to 280 per cent, more than in 1*127-28, no great diminution in the relative importance of imported wool may he expected,” says an otlicial statement of the Soviet Five-Year l’lan published by Allen Unwin. ‘‘The development of fine wool sheep-raising planned for the five years will ln> insufficient to cover the shortage, and the real -effects of this development will be felt only after the expiration of the live-year period. At- present Russia imports over DO per cent, of the line wool used.”
