WOOED AND WON IN A DAY DINGWALL |Boss-shire). Feb. 6. A wealthy American of Highland parentage has just finished successfully a search for a bride, of his own clan, after a motor-car' tour of the north of Scotland.
Air. William Williamson, of Newark, New Jersey, arrived in Glasgow recently, hired a motor-ear, and drove ,to Aberdeen, where the search began. The granite city did not contain the girl of bis finest, so be went on to Banfl, then to Elgin, Ferres, and Inverness. It was at Aine.ss, Ross-shiro, that he at .last, discovered Alias Charlotte Williamson. aged 22, a distant relative, whom be wooed and won in a day.
The next morning the bride’s trousseau was purchased at Dingwall, and an hour or two later the .couple wore married. Tlicv .arc* sailing for the United Stales immediately.
