LICENSE IRREGULAR
KAMO SPRINGS HOTEL SUPREME COURT DECISION (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Mr. Justice llerdtuan to-day delivered his decision that the Marsden Licensing Committee hud no jurisdiction to issue a publican's license for the Kamo Springs Hotel. He declared that the license was not renewed in 1917. and when granted in June, 1929, it had been dead for 12 years. Dealing with the argument that the law permits the resurrection of a license, the judge said proceedings might lie taken at the first annual meeting after forfeiture or non-renewal, but in this case that time had long since expired, lie therefore granted the application made by two electors of Marsden for a writ of certiorari to quash the committee's certificate.
