MEN DEVOURED BY CROCODILES
NAIROBI, Jan. 23. Ono European and 12 natives are believed to have been devoured by crocodiles while crossing a river near Kigao, in Uganda. The men wero on board a pontoon which was carrying a motor lorry across the river, states a Uganda message, when the pontoon sank, and they all fell into the river. None of them appeared again, and it is presumed that they were eaten by the crocodiles which swarm around the ferry.
