SMALL VESSEL ASHORE
NO DAMAGE REPORTED (For Press Association.) NELSON, this day. The Anchor Shipping Co.’s small cargo steamer Alexander ran aground in the French Pass at 2.30 this morning in thick weather. As far as is known the vessel is not damaged. The Matongi has been despatched to tow the Alexander off
