STATION WORTH £144,000 :i
GIFT TO EX-CHIEF JUSTICE
SYDNEY, April 4.
Among the bequests under the late Mr. John Brown's will, Darbalara station, near Gundagai, which Sir Adrian Knox receives, is worth at least £144,000 apart from the stock and the homestead. Darbalara is the home of famous milking shorthorns, which num,lcr nearly 500. Sir Adrian Knox, in addition, receives a legacy of £IG,OOU and shares in coal-mining properties equally with Mr. Thomas Armstrong, the present general manager for Messrs. J. and A. Brown. A legacy of £7500 is also provided under the will to Leslie Bower, stud groom and manager of Darbalara. - •
