ALLIANCE OF LABOR
AUCKLAND CRITICISM {Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. •'The Alliance of Labor does not represent 20 per cent, of the unions iu the Dominion," said a prominent Auckland Labor representative to-day. It. was not, therefore, in a position to express an opinion for the industrial movement in. the Dominion.
Comment was passed on the Alliance's attitude towards the compensation, and opinion expressed that it was inconsistent of the Alliance to protest against Mr. T. Bloodworth's appointment, when the Alliance's secretary, and a member of the Auckland Watersiders' Union, were appointed to the unemployment committee without any reference to the Labor movement, or even their affiliation.
