Oh for the spacious freedom of air' For the boundless joy of an eagle's flight! I'o be far from the reach of an earthly
crowd, To be kin with a world beyond human sight.
Oh for the bliss of solitude, With the urge of adventure my only call; And the lashing wind and the slate grey sky, And >.iv winged companion I ask, that's all.
The whirr of my engine is music to me;
And the glory of conquest should be my joy, (••;'.■.;' fill the planets were close and the stars were my gems.
And the whole world of mortals should seem just my toy.
