CRIME IN CHICAGO
CITIZENS TAKE ACTION CHICAGO, Feb. 8. The Commerce Association took cognizance of the murder, bomb, and crime wave and demanded that the tide of crime be stemmed, It stated "that the recent failure of the law enforcement bodies to check persons of known criminal tendencies can no longer be countenanced." The association has announced that a group of citizens composed of men of known courage and action will be appointed to prepare a definite plan of action.
