INDIAN RAILWAY STRIKE CALCUTTA, Feb. 8. While the leaders of the Railwaymen's Union state that over 100,000 lire striking, the agent of the Great Indian Peninsula Railway says the total number of strikers is only 7000 of the running staff and .15,000 workshop hands. Full train services are being kept up with some difficulty. The Muttrn section is now affected. The Government of India has issued a communique to the strikers, emphasising the unreasonableness of the union's action in calling a strike which is obviously dictated by outside influence.
