DRAY OVERTURNS
CONTRACTOR KILLED ACCIDENT AT KOPTJA Instantaneous death was the late of. .Michael o'Grady, 60, single, when a dray in which he was riding overturned at Kopua this morning, 'the deceased was on his way to start work on a contract with his brother, Mr. Thomas O'Grady, for the Public Works Department at Kopua. At about 7.50 o'c.'o.'k this morning deceased was riding in a dray driven by his nephew, Mr. J. O'Grady, when the horse took fright at a lorry on the side of the road, near the site of the VVharerala railway station The younger man descended to hold the horse s head, but the animal bolted, and the dray went over the bank, capsizing and crushing Mr. O'Grady beneath it. Mr. O'Grady suffeied terrible injuries to his head.
