COST TO INDUSTRY 7,000,000 DAYS LOST (■Received February 8, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 7. Basing his ease upon the Ministry of Health’s reports, to the effect that common colds and influenza cost Britain 7,000,000 working days per annum, eight lending industrialists and business men, headed by Lord Blyth and Lord Wakefield, issued a statement urging employers to spread knowledge of preventives, and to ensure medical supervision of their workers.
