(Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Presß Assn.)
(Received Feb. 3, 10 a,ni.,)' - LONDON, Feb.: %
Following a telephone message from a stranger giving the name of Ali Khan, who declared that he overheard Indian students plotting to blow up the Indian room at the British Museum, the authorities extensively searched and discovered a circular package wrapped in a newspaper, to which a. fuse was attached, in a staircase near the Indian Gallery. Scotland . Yard is examining the bomb, which is obviously homemade, with a view to determining whether it is destructive or a dummy. If the former, an explosion would have caused irreparable damage to the superb collection of religious sculptures.
