NEW CONSTITUTION SEVERANCE FROM ENGLAND (Received Feb. :'., 11 a.m.) DELHI, Feb. 2.
The India Episcopal Synod mooting at Calcutta adopted a new constitution, canons, and rules for the church, and adopted a motion requesting the Government to appoint March I as the date for legal severance of the Church of India, Burma, and Ceylon from the Church of England. Thcg svnod further decided to permit churches to use the revised Prayer Book, except the controversial parts of the Communion service.
