RUM-RUNNERS CAUGHT
COAST PATROLS' HAULS (Received Dec. 30, noon.) NEW YORK, Dec. 29. Two interesting incidents in connection with rum-running occurred to-day. A coastguard oil' Newport tired upon an escaping American rum-runner, dubbed "Black Duck," and killed three men and wounded one. A large cargo of liquor was captured. A supposedly British rum-runner, the "Flor Del Mar," was discovered by a coast patrol off Montauk, laden with liquor and .on fire.
