FOREIGNERS IN CHINA
U.S. PROMISES PROTECTION WASHINGTON, Dec. 29. That the American Government will take stringent measures to protect the rights of nations in China if there is any infringement of their privileges under the present extraterritorial provisions of the ChineseAmerican treaty, was indicated at the State Department.
