MIRACULOUS ESCAPE
CAR AND LORRY COLLIDE (Per Press Association.) DANNEVIRIvE, this day. A collision occurred at Terehunga on Sunday morning between a motor car driven by Mr. Win. Hermansen, a farmer, of Mahavahara, who had with him his wife and four children, and a cream lorry of the Tainaki Dairy (Jo., driven by Mr. Lewis Enoch Nikolaison. The collision occurred on a blind corner, the car being wrecked and the lorry capsized. The occupants of the car had a miraculous escape from serious injury. Tim car turned over, landing on the hood, and had to bo jacked up to release the driver's wife, who was not injured, but suffered from shook. Mr. Hermanson and his two young sons sustained minor injuries, the latter at pre : sent being in hospital. The others escaped unharmed.
