AFGHAN TREASURES
ON SALE IN INDIA DELHI, Dec. 26. Crown jewels, bracelets and other ornaments worth thousands of pounds, once the property of Queen Souriya, exQueen of Afghanistan, are being offered for sale in the Peshawar bazaar. Valuable carpets from ex-King Amanullab's palace were cut in sections by looters and sold for small sums.
