TRAFFIC IN DRUGS
GANG UNMASKED LONDON, Dec. 17. The correspondent of the "Daily Mail" in Geneva states that with the arrest at Zurich and Basle of 2A men and women (including a doctor and two chemists), the police are believed to have unmasked a gang ot drug traffickers all over Europe. After a report, from tho Egyptian police that, vast quantities of drugs were reaching Egypt from Basle, the police arrested a German chomist. A search of his laboratory revealed, that the manufacture of heroin and cocaine derivatives was being conducted on a huge scale. Tlu" drugs were exported camouflaged as coloring matter. _ Arrests have also been made in Germany, France, Italy, and Egypt.
