j INQUIRY Iff NEW ZEALAND I)r. E. Griffiths, Dr. Vickery, and M essrs. H addon and Holmes, of the Cambridge Low Temperature Research staff, who are studying the storage problems of meat in New Zealand, commenced their investigations at the Wakatu works in Hawke’s Bay, and are at. present continuing these at the Ngahaurnnga works ot the Wellington Meat Export Co. The investigations involve the examination of selected lines of lamb, examination of the temperatures and humidities of the carcases as they pass from the slaughtering floor right to the ship’s side, and thence to Great Britain, where the work will be 'continued by officers of the Cambridge Low Temperature Research Station.
