HELLO MALOLO!
BELL HOPS, ‘PHONE GIRLS MELBOURNE, Nov. 22. Dark, petite, with a sweet soft voice and slight American burr, Miss Dorothy O’Keefe is the chief of the Malolo “Hello Girls.” There are three “Hello Girls” on “’o Malolo, and they’re right on their job. , “We give hotel service,” said Miss O’Keefe to-dav, as she presided over the 500 local lines on the ship. “There is always one of us on duty day and night. We work shifts of four horn's on and eight hours off, and it is our duty to see that no call is kept waiting one minute.” Another feature of the “hotel service-” is the corps of bell boys, alert, neat persons in navy iblue and bright silver buttons. The bell boys are captained by Jack Martinez, of San Francisco, who has been with the company for 10 years, and has carried whiskies and sodas about all over the seven seas.
