TARANAKI CASES ENDED
' (Per Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, last, night. For n fortnight the Supreme Court at New Plymouth has been engaged in hearing a long series of charges against a gang of young thieves who have been operating in Taranaki. The last ease of the series was heard to-day. In the re-triali of Leonard Knight, who was found guilty on numerous cliarge.s of theft from eight postal boxes in New Plymouth and four in Stratford, mil attempting to break and enter a chemist’s shop at- Waitara, sentence was deferred.
