OWNERS WITHDRAW
MARITIME .CONFERENCES (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) GENEVA, October 13. After heated discussions and several adjournments, the. Maritime Conference, by a vote of 54 to 24, rejected the shipowners' resolution protesting because the seamen's delegates were appointed by the T.U.C. instead of by the Seamen's .Union, and thereafter the shipowners' delegates of all nations withdrew from the conference.
