POVERTY BAY GREEN Members of the Gisborne and Poverty Bay Bowling Chibs played ordinary games on the latter club’s green yesterday afternoon. The green was in good order. Results: — Hutton, McKcaguc, Falconer (s) 20 v. Ludwig. T. F. Crawford, Holmes (s) 1,1. Leggett, Cossey, Armstrong, Wilson (s) 28 v. Pistoi', Nasmith, McTnvisli, K. Robertson (s) 18. Redstone, Dunbar, H. Bright., T. A. Crawford (s) 28 v. Rusher, Blackburn, Holland, Hartley (s) 20. T. Robertson, Sutton, Stewart (s) 24 v. Clare, Wyatt, Wilkinson (s) 12. KAHUTIA CLUB The following games were played on the Kahutia Bowling Club's green yesterday afternoon Langford, Caham, Dudfield, Sawyer (s) 21 v. Chamberlain, Mcßae, Power, J. J. Martin Is) 16. Spence, Pollock, Roderick (s) 28 v. J. O. Jones, Fisehbach, VVootton (s) 20. Tho summer green was opened for play during the week, and though slightly on the heavy side, played very nicely, and should be in really good order by the time the opening day arrives.
