PLANES. LOST IN FOG
GOOD. AIRMANSHIP SHOWN (British Official Wireless.) Ree. 1 p.m. RUGBY. Sept. 26. Five naval airplanes were lost in a fog that enveloped Moray Firth, to-day. They were carrying out manoeuvres when tlie fog descended suddenly. Anxiety was felt, as their supply of petrol gave them a flight range of only two and, a half hours, but they landed' safely in a, field near Buckie. Each plane, made an excellent lauding, which involved, a considerable feat of piloting in view of the restricted space.
