WOMAN'S SUICIDE
JUMP OVER 150 FT. .CLIFF SYDNEY, August 13. An unknown young woman uttered a piercing scream/ and threw herself over Bondi cliffs to-day. Her body, dreadfully mutilated, was recovered 150 ft. below. Death was probably instantaneous. BODY IDENTIFIED (Received August 14, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, August 14. The girl who threw herself over the rocks at Bondi has been identified as Valerie Hoelan, 24, a married woman. Another woman tried to prevent the tragedy and the girl said she would not go over, but the next instant she leapt, crashing on the rocks below.
