.Lyttelton.—Arrived at 1.15 p.m. today, Calm, from Wellington. A very pleasant time wan spent al the Cosmopolitan Club last night, when the cribbage players representing the Kahutia Bowling Club played ft return game with the "Cosmo's" representatives. There was a largo attendance, no fewer than 52 participating in the contest. If was expected that a keen struggle would ensue, as ill the first meeting the Kahutia players gained a victory by only one single point. Last night," however, the Kahutians were in great form, and early in the contest established a good lead, which they maintained to the finish, winning comfortably. The visitors were most hospitably entertained by the Cosmopolitan Club members, and at the conclusion Mr. F. Collin, president, congratulated the winners on their excellent performance, and thanked one and all for the enjoyable time that had been spent. Mr. B. Budfield, in the unavoidable absence of Mr. O. Prince, president of the Kahutia Club, thanked the members of the Cosmopolitan Club for the generous manner in which they had entertained the visitors, and oxpressed a wish that many more such evenings would he spent by the members of the two clubs. It was suggested that representatives from both clubs should be appointed to draw up a syllabus of coining events. '
