THE ALLIES' DEMANDS
GERMANY INDIGNANT "POLICY OF PLUNDER" (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.; LONDON, April 15. The Daily Express' Berlin correspondent says: "A policy of plunder" is the phrase summing up Germany's reception of the reparation experts' proposals. The newspapers throughout the country are voicing a roar of indignation, and reports from Paris are suggesting that American delegates are as much shocked as the Germans at the vastness of the Allied demands. The Deutche AUegemeine Zeitung savs that the demands will be a death blow to the conference. In the whole memorandum there is no evidence that the burdens imposed upon Germany can be borne.
