INSURING AIR PASSENGERS
BRISBANE, April 2. The- first insurance scheme in Australia to cover risk of accident through travelling by aeroplane without the payment of a * premium additional to the ordinary sick and accident fees, is to be launched by the Commercial Travellers' Association'of Australia. The only conditions required are that the insureVl shall De a paying passenger travelling in a certified aeroplane controlled by a licensed pilot between definitely established air ports. The Commercial Travellers' Conference unanimously carried the recommendation to this effect at its sittings to-day.
