EATEN BY CROCODILE
A CAIRNS MYSTERY SOLVED BRISBANE, April 1. The finding of a small tobacco pouch and Chinese cigarette papers in the stomach of a 15i't. long man-eating crocodile, which was captured in a lagoon near Cairns recently, has solved the mystery of the disappearance of a Chinese during the recent floods. Unremitting police investigations had failed to locate the man, but the identification of the articles by friends of the Chinese leaves little doubt as to his terrible death.
