ORDER FOR BRITAIN
MACHINERY FOR RUSSIA (Australian Press Assn:—United Service.) MOSCOW, March 31. In connection with the tour of the British industrialists, an order toi £350,000 worth of machinery has been placed with an Oldham firm.
A Moscow message to the Sydney Sun states that the Soviet is endeavoring to cultivate a good impression with the delegation of British business men visiting Russia. The former Soviet Ambassador to Britain pointed out that the volume of trade last year was only half what it was' in 1925, and that there would be a great impetus if normal relations were resumed. It is reported in Moscow that one British firm has already opened a credit of £.1,000,000. "••' '-•■'' ;
