It is hoped to commence discharge to-morrow and complete on Thursday next, when she will sail for Napier. The Tasmania is due at Gisborne about April 8 to load frozen meat, and general cargo for Eastern I.S.A- ports and W.C.U.K. ports. The. Awahou. from Gisborne, arrived at Auckland at 4.30 p.m. yesterday. She sailed this morning for Portland, where she is to load cement for Gisborne. On completion the steamer returns to Auckland to load general cargo fur Coast bavs and Gisborne.

The Putiki sailed at 9 p.m. on Saturday, and is due at- Wellington to-day. She is expected to leave again to-morrow night .'for Napier and Gisborne. , The Mako is loading general cargo at Lyttelton for Waikokopu, Coast bays. and Gisborne.

The Tiroa leaves Auckland to-morrow for Hicks Bay and Gisborne. The vessel is due here on Thursday. The Gunbar, with general cargo, leaves Auckland to-morrow for Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier. The auxiliary schooner Will Watch is discharging Auckland cargo. On completion "she. returns to Auckland. The. auxiliary ketch Jluanui if- discharging shingle from Napier. The. P. and O. branch liner Baradinc, after being reconditioned with a BauerWelch oil-burning installation, acquired a speed of 16j knots, compared with 14 knots prior to reconditioning.
