GOOD PRICES IN AMERICA (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.; SAN MATEO, March 31. Nationally-known sportsmen and sportswomen here were bidders for 30 polo ponies of the Australians. The oilers wore not spirited, and the prices ranged from' £IOO to £640. the latter being paid for Oollingwoocl' The same purchaser also obtained two other prize ponies. Flicker £560 and Redwing £SOO. Fivo others of the better ponies went for prices ranging between £440 and £soo'. -Mr- Dillingham purchased Starling at. £450. and Lady (live at £460. The majority of the animals were sold around £240.
