RENTERS TO BE LICENSED (Special 4 o the Herald.) AUCKLAND, this day. Temporary regulations which come into force immediately have been issued under an Order-in-Couneil directing the registration of film renters in New Zealand. This temporary expedient will enable the provisions of the Cinematograph Films Act to. be enforced in regard to fire precautions when exhibiting films. Licenses are to he issued bv the inspector of explosives, and expire at the end of December. The fee, where more than 12 quota films are to ho exhibited during the year, is ±l6. and in every other case £ 2 ■
