GISBORNE CLUB In view of the Peace Shield howling tournament a full muster of members attended the Gisborne Bowling Club's green on Saturday afternoon. At one stage of the match the challengers led by 13 to 0, but Cameron and Moore eventually succeeded in fending off the challengers by' 23 points to 21. , KAHUTIA CLUB ' There was a good attendance of members on the Kahutia Club’s green on Saturday afternoon when much interest was taken in the rink games for the Dan Barry Memorial Shield between Simpson and Power, and Newton and Harkess, Simpson and Newton were lying level, with one loss each, and as this was the last round, a defeat to' either would have put them out of it.
