CONFESSION CLEARS MAN
TORONTO, Nov. 2.
William Haskins, a young farmer in the 'twenties, is likely to be released immediately from a five years' penitentiary -sentence with hard labor 'following a remarkable disclosure by two con-science-stricken London (Ontario) girls. He was sentenced in connection with the death of a man named William 'Galloway. His car struck the man's body and he could offer no satisfactory explanation. The girls now state that a car in which they were passengers, travelling just in front of Haskin's car, killed Galloway and 1 then drove on.
