MAN KILLED IN COLLISION
(Per*Press Association.) W AIM ATE, this day. William Alfred Charles Broad, 22, single, a grocer’s assistant, of Geraldine, was killed in a collision with a motorlorry four miles from Waimate at 7 o’clock last evening. Deceased was driving a car containing his father and mother, who were returning from a howling match at Waimate. The car struck the lorry on a bridge, ami continued over the structure, through a wire fence, and down a 14ft. bank. Deceased's nock was broken. Deceased’s mother broke her collarbone, while his father suffered severe facial injuries.
