LONDON EXHIBITION PICTURES ARRIVING (British Official Wireless.) Rcc. 10 a.m. RUGBY, D c. 12. Two Dutch torpedo boats, after accompanying to British territorial water tho Batavia Line steamers in which are'pictures of great value for exhibition in London, will pay a courtesy visit to London. The first is due to arrive to-day, and the-s-eond to-mor-row.
The pictures will be unloaded at Customhouse Quay, and in view of their great value adequate arrangements nave been made ror their protection, both during their transfer to the Royal Academy, and while, they are housed there. These pictures include those but :by.the'Dutch'Govern* meat to be shown at the exhibition-of Dutch art to be 'opened in January. in addition -to the 'exhibits 'irom Holland, contributions have been promised from America, . Hungary, Switzerland, 'Finland, and Rumania. In ail ilure will be about 268 old masters,' liii' pictures of the modern Hague school, and 200 drawings, engravings, and etchings.
