NEW ANAESTHETIC

Spinocaine, a new spinal anaesthetic, was used tor the first time in Canada at the Amherst Hospital on Wednesday. The patient, who underwent a foot operation, remained conscious throughout and suffered no pain. It is understood that only two places in {he United States are using the new anaesthetic.
