POVERTY BAY EXECUTIVE The weekly meeting of the executive of the Poverty Bay Football Association was held last evening*, the chairman, Mr. J. J. Macdonald, presiding. There were also present: Messrs. McMullen, Brown, Oates, H. Shields, J. Hair, A. Baker, R. Green, J. Hewitson, McKinnon, and ; Barker. The Thistle Club wrote inquiring in referenco to withdrawing ab?<*.t players and the paying of excess fees. —It was i decided to draw the club’s attention to rule 39. THIS WEEK’S FIXTURES. Matches for this week were drawn as under, and the teams to take part in the junior matches to-morrow are given below:— Saturday: Rangers v. Thistle, No. 1 ground, referee, Mr. Hall ; Mercantile v. Thistle A, No. 2 ground, referee, Mr. Coleman; reserve referee, Mr. R. McKeague. Thursday: Thistle v. City, No. 1 ground, referee, Mr. Morton; Whata.tr poko v. Rovers, No. 2 ground, referee, Mr. J. Hair. Matches will commence at 3.30 p.m. City: J. Sutton. Green, R. Bignell, Smith, Callaghan, McKay, L. Bignell, Curtiss, T. Harris, Mansfield, and J. Burns. Thistle: R, Harris, C. Prentice, W. Hall, G. Hall, A. McLean, Dunsmore, Harrison, Hughes, Elliott, W. McKay, Coker and McMurray. Rovers: Pitcher, Allan (2), McCallum (3), Brown, Coker. Lyle and Jones. Wlmtaupoko: James, Wells, Johnstone, Milligan, Ludwig, Warner, Robertson, Gardiner (2), Webster and Ford.
