POLICE STATION WRECKED
OCCUPANTS' NARROW ESCAPE (Received April 15, 1 p.m.) BRISBANE, April 14. The police station at Pentland, near Townsville, was wrecked by an explosion, believed to have been caused by dynamite placed under the flooring boards. A police constable and his family, who were sleeping on the premises, had a miraculous escape from death. The motive is a. mystery.
