LONDON, Feb. 8. Twenty forest officers, representing every region of the Empire, took courses at Oxford last year. The Imperial Forestry Institute has become a great clearing-house of woodland lore. Not only does it arrange for its stud cuts to visit the forests of Europe, but : t links up the experience of the Indian forest service, w'th the new requirement' of Nigeria. ' Among its own investigations is an enquiry, on behalf of the New Zealand Government, into the noirasites on a wasp, imported from Europe, which is attacking New Zealand pines.
