Hawke’s Bay and Wairarapa, m'lio has been in the Poverty Bay district for the past, fortnight, left yesterday afternoon for Wairoa, expecting to return to Hastings by Hie end of Hie week. Advice was received, in Ha worn today that the Rev. Chancellor F. P. Cullen, Administrator of the Catholic archdiocese of Wellington, has been appointed parish priest at Hawern in succession to Hie late Monsignor Power. — P. A.
